We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Our party ordered a variety of items including chicken parm, pasta, pizza, lasagna, and I personally had an Italian calzone. Everything was great. The other good thing was portion size. No one left hungry, and almost everyone needed a to go box. Service was an A+ as well. Would definitely recommend if you are traveling to Panama City beach.

Food wise, I would've given it a 3 but overall, i'll give you a 4. You close in half an hour? table for 4 please! Yeah...that was my group. I try to stay away from restaurants when it's an hour before closing but it was like 9pm on a Monday and I didn't have many options besides macdonalds and waffle house. Plus, the front desk of the hotel recommended this place so why not. This city is a tourist city, so first and foremost, I'm sorry to all the workers. Yall must see some shit. And come on, it's PCB, you must see some crazy shit and must deal with the rudest customers. So for that, hats off to you guys. Was my waiter racist? No. Was he an asshole? No. Served us promptly, was nice, refilled my water when I was out, and checked on us periodically during the meal. I mean, what more could you really want from a server? The only thing was that it took a while for the food to come out, but I guess it was an hour till closing, they still had a good 3/4 of the back room full and also more people were still coming in (see, i'm not THAT bad). But I'll let them off the hook. I ordered 3 different types of pizzas: supreme, margarita, and a Hawaiian. The margarita and supreme was half-n-half pizza, which was awesome that they accommodated that. Margarita wasn't anything special but I really did like their supreme. The Hawaiian was full of pineapples but barely any ham at all....wussup with that? I felt cheated on the Hawaiian. If I were to recommend one type, I say go with the supreme. The sausage was very hearty and flavor was on point. Overall, not too bad. Crust was thin crust, looks to be hand tossed. Can't tell if I liked it more because I was really hungry or that food was on par, but you decide for yourself.

Had a hard time finding GREAT food in PCB for dinner. So we asked the security guard at our resort and she told us to try this place. She was RIGHT. The food was excellent. We had the spaghetti w/ meatsauce, fettuccine alfredo, a calzone, and pizza they all were great. Portions are huge. (Calzone was big enough to share) Service was good. Restaurant was clean. Prices were good. We would come back again.

I've been going here since I use to live here 12 years ago. It's still the same, consistently good food with the best customer service. The customer service part is the biggest part for me. The past trip the guy bussing table spoke to everyone. Super friendly, going beyond are you ok today. Truly caring about customers. In today's environment it's such a refreshing experience to have customer service this great. 5 stars for the experience, foods good too!

My friend and I were visiting PCB for the weekend and wanted some Italian food. This place was pretty close to our hotel so we decided to go. I won't name the server's name because I honestly feel bad, but his service was terrible. He forgot about us, and openly admitted it twice, kept forgetting what we were drinking (water), kept looking frustrated at our questions, kept on interrupting us and leaving while we were talking to him, got my friends order wrong, etc. He was a terrible server, and I feel bad for him. I am a server also so it was a little disappointing. The food was decent but not the best, and a little pricy, but other than that, it was an ok experience, but I don't think I'll go back there if I am ever in that area again.

This is a great pizza place. Very good new york style pizza. Prompt friendly service and affordable prices. Will definitely be getting pizza from here again next time we're in PCB.

My family and I went here in July on our trip to Panama City. We have been going to Sweet basil's for over 20 years. We have always enjoyed the Italian food and pizzas that we got here. This trip however is showing that the place is starting to age, it's time to clean up paint and do a few things to spruce up the restaurant. It would not hurt for the managers to listen to the way their waitresses are talking to the people, these people don't sound happy to be working here. This is too strong to not turn it around and back to the way it was years ago. The food is still great it just needs some work on its appearance.

Stopped here while on vacation and had a very good experience. There was a small wait time but not to bad. The appetizers were really good and the main corse was even better. The wait staff was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. I plan to be a repeat customer the next time I am in town on vacation.

Ordered the chicken Diane was bland and tasted like nothing but water and butter chicken was over cooked and chewey the noodles were so over cooked and drowning in butter I couldn't even eat them. Their "house dressing" taste like it came right out of a bottle. Down right rude staff, lack of organization and cleanliness.

The food was mediocre at best. The manager was also incredibly rude. My friend has a lot of food allergies and ordered plain pasta with butter. They charged her the full $13 as if she had ordered the pasta with marinara and when we spoke with the manager he said "what did you think? You ordered something not on the menu. That's not my problem." Was incredibly rude and not accommodating, I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Will def never eat here again

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
